i trust you will be feeling better soon! until then, i think all the things you are doing for yourself are wonderful!!! what you described are the things i do when i let my heart lead me and i have the most glorious days. relax into it and heal. maybe all of this was placed before you precisely so you could do just that. I equate oranges with the object to the magnificent center of the sun. Whitman is an old-fashioned sage of sorts. He wrote with such vivid wisdom and emotional depth. I count his poetry as a major influence upon the endless words that slip away. Attention is a proper action of intent. You must surrender yourself. Let the water cascade like a river bend down a misty mountain. Thank you Little Voice. I am humbled by your simplicity and stoic pleasures.

"i am doing my best; my best like at sixteen dreaming of Whitman,"

for me it was dreaming of Longfellow. he spoke to the scared boy in me, scared by those things and people so much bigger and stronger, and coaxed it out into the reality of a man, not a boy. i love him still, and his words, six decades later.

like i love your words of hope and comfort and pray for healing for whatever is your discomfort. how could i not, you bring such peace and beauty into my world.
