you do not have to be good./ you do not have to walk on your knees / for a hundred miles through the desert repenting. / you only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.
I believe Mary Oliver imbues one the most acute observations on our daily struggle and redemption by the roads of love. I am not perfect nor does my poetry have to be ideal. I realise that we can learn a lot by listening to the aether. Thank You little voices for tapping into the threshold. We must all emulate Nature. It is the spoils of avarice and war that reduces our connection to a greater good.
